I fuss too much about doing things and then just put it off. I am intimated by the whole procedure. A hole in the canoe. I have to cut the broken edges out and replace with new kevlar. I go back to the chat forums, I check you tube channels, ask my technical consultant, but I am still not confident. I am not messing with my own stuff here. This is a canoe that belongs to someone. They are depending on me to do this right. I put it off another day to think about how to proceed. The hardest part of the job is just making the first cut. Like many times in life it is taking a leap of faith, trusting yourself and eating the frog.
